The Doctoral School of Social Sciences of Water (DSSE) is an event at the French-speaking scale existing since December 2014. Every 18 months, all French-speaking doctoral students working on the theme of water in disciplines such as geography, ethnology, history, anthropology, sociology, political science ... meet in one place in order to confront the views of senior researchers and discuss their own work.

The DSSE 2021, which will be held in Châteauroux from September 8 to 10T, will follow those of Strasbourg (2014), Montpellier (2016), Nanterre (2017) and Lyon (2019). Initially planned in Marrakech in January 2021, these 5th DSSE have been relocated to metropolitan France due to the health crisis.

• Deadline for submissions (oral and poster): April 14th 2021
• Notifications to authors: May 16 th 2021
• Application deadline: July 31th 2021 (registration opens in May)
  

Free participation and registration is mandatory (within the limit of available places).

• Registration fees, field trip on September 9 and lunch are included.
• Travel, evening meals and accommodation are the responsibility of the participants. A list of hotels in Châteauroux will be suggested in the practical information.

Pour leur cinquième édition, les Doctoriales en Sciences Sociales de l’Eau se tiendront à l’Université d’Orléans et plus particulièrement sur le site de Châteauroux, campus Balsan (voir plan ci-dessous). Cet évènement international rassemblera des doctorant.e.s quelle que soit leur année d’inscription et de jeunes chercheur.e.s ayant récemment soutenu une thèse en sciences sociales ou humaines : économie, droit, sociologie, psychologie, anthropologie, sciences politiques, sciences de gestion, géographie, histoire, histoire de l’art, archéologie, philosophie. L’objectif est de dresser un panorama des recherches récentes ou en cours et de mettre en réseau les jeunes chercheur.e.s sur la question « Eaux et sociétés » avec une pluralité d’approches et de questionnements. Conférences plénières, travail en sessions, film, témoignages etc. seront autant de formes pour en débattre.

Les propositions doivent comporter un résumé présentant les questions de recherche, les méthodes mises en œuvre ou envisagées et les résultats obtenus ou attendus. Pour les communications orales (15 min), un résumé étendu de 2 pages est également demandé. Vous trouverez le modèle de proposition joint à l’appel à communication. Trois formats de présentation sont possibles :

• Communication orale (15 minutes)
• Poster (format A0) (Présentation en session dédiée)
• « Ma thèse en 3 images et 180 secondes »

Propositions à soumettre avant le 14 avril 2021

1. Login

Otherwise, click on "Create an account" and fill in the form.

2. Enter a proposal
In the left-hand menu, under the heading "Login Area", click on "Deposits" .
The "Deposits > My Deposits" window opens.
Simply click on "Submit a summary" and follow the procedure.
Fill in all the fields.
You have the possibility to add authors if necessary.
DON'T FORGET TO VALIDATE YOUR DEPOSIT BY CLICKING ON "SUBMIT".

A window will appear to confirm that your submission has been taken into account. You will also receive a confirmation email.
